Cita Love Hi Lance, Mortician's usually prepares the inside and outside of the body. Sometimes, professional cosmetician (make-up artist) and hairdresser's from local salon's who are contracted by the funeral home will preform these services. Additionally, family members may also opt to perform these services for their loved ones as well. It's all a matter of preference.
