Upon researching horse hair I found that it is many different things made from horse hair
(poor horses). Here is a shocker: The traditional horsehair wigs worn by judges in the supreme and circuit courts of Ireland.

Lance Greene REAL HORSE HAIR, INSANE
Years ago, it was considered very disrespectful to say a woman that had added hair in her head was wearing horse hair. I seen a horse this morning, and the horses tail and hair down the neck looks similar to hair I see in some women's hair. How? do women know that they are not wearing hair from a horse.

Meyca J Good question. I think sellers have to inform us when using animal products However, upon a little research it is very possible that we can be wearing horse hair.
Meyca J Horse hair is very course, most of the hair used in weaves is silky. Could be chemically processed, who knows! Definitely a great debate and more research needed.
